Game 2 using words from step 1 in the Blend Phonics Book. We set up the short vowel flash cards on the floor with blocks on either side to keep the player in the boundaries. Then the object was to break through to the other side by reading a word thus making a path to walk down. The player is allowed only 20 cards each and can pick any path he wants to get to the end. He is not allowed to step on words. Once TJ went down the path we reorganized the cards to make it narrower and no spaces between the cards. Then after Zak went we reorganized again for Max. They each earned 20 more words to put in their lap books.
